This is about a guy near the end of high school who starts to develop an attraction to guys and it takes him a while to accept this. Spoilers: In time he meets a guy, who sends very mixed signals, and they start to become close. However, his mother is a homophobe and she manipulates the guy into ghosting her son, which sends him into a depression. It flashes ahead a year and his heart is healed and he has a good relationship with his mother. The good, it was mostly feel good and they did a good job capturing that questioning feeling, the bad is that he never learned is that it was his mother that ruined his life.
